Fluorocarbon leader lines can be manufactured with varying degrees of smoothness (ST1 to ST5) to perfectly match the fishing style and prevailing conditions. A fluorocarbon line rated ST1 is designed to offer maximum stiffness and provide excellent sensitivity and optimum control for precision casting and setting the hook. At the other end of the spectrum is a fluorocarbon line rated ST5, which is designed for maximum flexibility and offers greater knot strength and durability. Whether you need a stiff fluorocarbon line for fine presentations or a supple line for better handling, the Westin range of lines with different ST ratings has you covered. The W6 ST3 FLUOROCARBON offers maximum impact and knot strength - all in a small diameter. A fast sinking line that gets you into the hot zone faster - and with a lower refractive index, it is significantly less visible underwater than comparable monofilament lines. The W6 ST3 Fluorocarbon is available in diameters from 0.14 mm to 1.20 mm.
