With the 23' Ninja DAIWA offers the latest Japanese design concept and technology that inspires - at an excellent price-performance ratio! The 23' Ninja has been improved in essential points compared to the previous model and is lighter, more sensitive and stronger than its predecessor. By using the new, lightweight Airdrive rotor, the balance of the reel is shifted from the front unit to the rear part of the reel, offering better overall balance and more sensitivity when fishing. The lure feel is transmitted better and you can react faster. The precise and powerful Tough Digigear gearing ensures high retrieving power and long-lasting, silky-smooth, quiet running. The new Airdrive bail is lighter than before, extremely resilient and, in conjunction with the new bail arm, there is significantly less tangling when casting. If the line gets tangled on the bail arm, it simply slides over the arm into the line roller by turning the crank handle and there is no need to intervene. The ATD Type-L drag releases the line under load without high initial resistance and also ensures a high level of safety when fighting a big fish. The aluminium Longcast ABS spool has an optimized trailing edge, which ensures less friction and greater casting distances. The Twistbuster III construction on the line roller ensures that braided line in particular is not pressed flat during spooling and that there is less twist.
