Especially when fishing with large and very heavy lures, baitcast rods are much easier to cast and the baitcast reel/multi-reel provides a better contact to the lure.Due to the exclusive DAIWA rod construction technology it is possible to design extremely light and durable rods, which easily withstand the tough demands of baitcast fishing. HVF carbon fiber with Nanoplus technology allows our engineers to develop extremely light, durable and well-balanced blanks. The X45 carbon fiber construction ensures a torsion-resistant blank that does not twist during the cast - long and precise casts are the result of this processing technology. The exclusive V-Joint technology reinforces the joints for a perfect bending curve and extra power under extreme loads. The actions of the various rods have been individually adapted to the respective types of fishing.

PROREX XR BAITCAST
The two Prorex XR Baitcast models with 120 g and 175 g casting weights offer the optimum alliance of power and sensitivity, especially for big bait fishing with XL soft baits and hardbaits. The strong backbone offers enormous power reserves during the fight, bait presentation and casting. The tip loads up very well during the cast and enables accurate casting of heavy lures even at long distances. The 42 g casting weight model is suitable for fishing with all common light to medium-heavy artificial lures.

PROREX XR VERTICAL BAITCAST
Very light and stiff rod with a "bone-dry" action for vertical fishing. The handle of this model is made of continuous material to ensure that the rod can be held comfortably even in the cold season.

PROREX XR PITCHIN BAITCAST
The Pitchin Baitcast was designed for fishing with stickbaits, spinnerbaits and plugs. The very fast tip action makes this rod ideal for twitching and pitching.
