It's finally here, the 2nd generation of the already legendary Shirasu IM-8 predator rods. All blanks have been redeveloped and there are plenty of new rods in addition to some tried and tested rod types. The spinning rods have modern fast taper actions, i.e. fast tip actions. The screw reel seat has openings on the side so that you can place your finger on the blank and are guaranteed to notice every twitch and pluck. The lower part of the blank is wrapped in high-quality carbon tape. This series also uses the tried-and-tested Pro Guide Concept ring system, which ensures an optimum bending curve during the fight. For an easier overview, the action of the rod is also shown as an abbreviation on the blank alongside the casting weight (e.g. UL for Ultra Light). The rods are perfectly matched in terms of color and technology with the new Shirasu fixed spool and baitcast reels. Not everyone fishes in large rivers such as the Rhine or Elbe, where hard rods are required. Anyone fishing for zander in smaller waters will be extremely happy with this rod. A wonderfully light and delicate rod with a fast tip action.
