After almost two years of development in close cooperation with the Norwegian professional Steffen Dietze, the Arctic Jig and the Arctic Eel were created, a superlative soft lure! Steffen, who runs a camp in northern Norway, knows all the common soft lures from the FF, but he wasn't really satisfied with any of them. So from the very beginning, the focus was on improving these weak points and developing the perfect shad. Sprial jig head: All known shads have the problem that the soft lure is difficult to change or holds poorly on the head. The stainless steel spiral holds the shad bombproof. It can be turned on and off in no time at all without damaging the rubber. A small insertion channel in the rubber shows where the spiral has to go. Magnetic hook support: Conventional rubber fish either have a large single hook or a stinger with treble hook, which is inserted into the back like when fishing for zander. When using a single hook, the fish often lever themselves out and the rubber is also badly affected. When using treble hooks with stingers, the main problem is that you don't know whether the treble hook is still in place or dangling below the shad in the event of a false bite, which naturally leads to a high false bite rate. The Arctic Shads have a magnet in the back. If there is a missed bite and the hook comes off the magnet, it automatically returns to the magnet - simply great! In the event of a bite, the treble hook detaches from the magnet and the stinger hangs freely from the shad. The fish's teeth do not come into contact with the rubber! Another advantage: All 3 tips of the treble hook are free, which leads to a better bite yield.
