Sea spinning reel with ATD drag system

The DAIWA BG reels combine highest resilience and retrieving power with a silky smooth running and premium design. The HardBodyZ aluminum reel body ensures a torsion-resistant bearing of the Digigear II gear and an optimum power transmission during the fight. The ABS aluminum spool has been equipped with a rubber ring in the middle especially for braided lines, which completely prevents the slipping of smooth braided lines under load on the spool.

DAIWA BG reels - Robust at all times - even in salt water

The BG reels are coated in a special "no paint" surface process so that no paint can flake off the reel body even under heavy use and in salt water.

The crank handle is firmly screwed into the reel body and sits torsion-proof and without play - ideal when large forces have to be transmitted when sea fishing.

From size 4500 upwards, these reels are of course ideal as powerful pilk reels and for uncompromising catfish fishing. The bail wrap is manual from this size upwards.
